    • Showa Kyushu Corporation was established in Kumamoto.

    • Renamed as SHOWA CORPORATION after the merger with Seikigiken Kogyo. Co., Ltd. Started production of steering systems.
      A subsidiary company in the United States and the stocks of the Blanchester FCM. Inc., are acquired by this merger.
