Hitachi Astemo joins “Advanced SoC Research for Automotive“
Tokyo, March 29, 2024 --- Hitachi Astemo, Ltd. announces it joined the Advanced SoC Research for Automotive Applications (ASRA*1) on March 28. ASRA was established in December 2023 by 12 companies, mainly automobile manufacturers, to conduct research and development of System on Chip (SoC*2) for use in automobiles.

SoC: Type of high-performance digital semiconductor
The aim is to research and develop SoC for automobiles to which chiplet technology is applied, which combines different types of semiconductors, and to install them in mass-produced vehicles from 2030.
