Astemo Cypremos and Wipro to jointly build and operate an IoV platform that supports digital engineering

Tokyo, June 13, 2025 – Astemo Cypremos, Ltd. (hereafter “Cypremos”), a subsidiary of Astemo, Ltd. (hereafter “Astemo”) specializing in software and cloud services, has partnered with Wipro Limited, a company headquartered in Bengaluru, India, which has extensive software development and maintenance experience, to build and operate an IoV^*1 platform that supports digital engineering in the SDV^*2 age.

In today's automotive industry, the importance of software is rapidly increasing. Vehicle control and functions are becoming increasingly software-dependent, due to advances in autonomous driving technology, the spread of connected cars, and the progress of electrification. With the increasing complexity of software, improving the efficiency and speed of engineering has become a critical issue. Cypremos was newly established in November 2024 to lead the transformation in this field.

Cypremos has been researching cutting-edge technologies and developing technological roadmaps on a global scale. Based on these achievements, Cypremos has partnered with Wipro, a leading company in AI-powered engineering services and consulting, to build and operate an IoV platform with the aim of revolutionizing digital engineering in the SDV age.

By combining Wipro's strengths in technology and talent in the cloud field with Cypremos's extensive automotive experience, the two companies will contribute to solving issues faced by the automotive industry, including by automakers, and provide new value.

Cypremos will continue to build an open ecosystem with leading companies across various fields to lead the revolution in digital engineering. Astemo and Cypremos will provide the value required in the SDV age as Tier 0.5 suppliers through their IoV platform, which combines In-Car and Out-Car domains, and develop mobility services for SDV and beyond for sustainable growth.
