Astemo becomes official sponsor of HRC for MotoGP’s Pro Honda LCR team

Tokyo, February 2, 2026 – Astemo, Ltd. (hereafter “Astemo”) has signed an agreement to become an official sponsor of Honda Racing Corporation (“HRC”) for the Pro Honda LCR team in the 2026 season of MotoGP, the premier class of the FIM ^* Road Racing World Championship. Receiving machine development and technical support from HRC and carrying the name of title sponsor Pro Honda—the genuine oil and chemical brand of Honda Motor Co., Ltd—Pro Honda LCR fields one of the two machines of racing team Honda LCR in MotoGP.

Astemo has long promoted motorsports through sponsorship activities across a wide range of racing categories, while expanding opportunities for technological development. Under the agreement, Astemo will support Pro Honda LCR’s racing activities as an HRC OFFICIAL SPONSOR. In addition, Astemo will provide technological support to the team through the manufacturing and supplying of start devices, which enhance the performance of MotoGP machines at the start of the race.

By supporting Pro Honda LCR in MotoGP—the premier category of motorcycle road racing—Astemo seeks to further strengthen its advanced technology development capabilities, enhance global brand recognition, and communicate the value of the Astemo brand to audiences worldwide.
