Astemo establishes Astemo Works, Ltd.; new company
to expand employment opportunities for people with disabilities

Tokyo, April 1, 2026 - Astemo, Ltd. (hereafter “Astemo”) established Astemo Works, Ltd. (hereafter “Astemo Works”) on April 1, 2026, with the aim of providing an environment where employees can fully utilize their abilities and express their personalities, regardless of disability. The new company plans to apply for certification as a special subsidiary under the “Act to Facilitate the Employment of Persons with Disabilities.”

Among Astemo’s established MISSION, VISION and VALUES,* the VALUES serve as its guiding principles for conduct. They embody a variety of concepts that underpin our business activities, including fostering innovation, the ability to respond swiftly to change and a commitment to respecting and collaborating with others. Guided by these principles, Astemo has now established Astemo Works to respect and embrace our individual differences, recognize each other's abilities and work together to realize a sustainable society while enriching people's lives.

Astemo Works supports the Astemo Group’s business operations by manufacturing automotive parts, providing cleaning and facility maintenance at corporate sites, and various other operational support services. Additionally, by implementing systems and fostering an environment that offers diverse work arrangements, the company creates a workplace where employees can grow and thrive over the long term.

Astemo will continue to promote the creation of an environment where diverse talent can leverage their individual strengths and fully utilize their abilities through initiatives such as the establishment of Astemo Works.
