Astemo to showcase advanced solutions and innovative products driving the SDV age at Automotive Engineering Exposition 2026 YOKOHAMA

Tokyo, May 21, 2026 - Astemo, Ltd. (hereafter “Astemo”) will exhibit at the Automotive Engineering Exposition 2026 YOKOHAMA, organized by the Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan. At booth no. 459 of the trade show, held from Wednesday, May 27 to Friday, May 29 at Pacifico Yokohama (Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture), Astemo will present advanced solutions and innovative products that lead the SDV*1 age in the areas of environment, safety and digitalization. The exhibit will highlight integrated control technologies that combine these technologies at a higher level, along with showcasing the latest cloud-connected technologies.

    SDV: Software Defined Vehicle

Environment

Under the theme “Sustainable mobility through environmentally stress-free solutions,” Astemo will introduce technologies that contribute to reducing environmental impact through “Resource-efficient mobility (resource efficiency)” and “energy-efficient mobility (energy efficiency).” The exhibit will also feature key technologies that enable these advancements, including our Rare-Earth-Free Motor, In-Wheel Motor and Integrated Charger.

Safety

Under the theme “Delivering Freedom and Joy of Mobility to Everyone,” Astemo will showcase technologies that enhance safety and comfort. These include NOA,*2 which enables comfortable and reliable travel through coordinated vehicle motion control and MDS,*3 which provides stress-free mobility through integrated internal and external sensing technologies.
Additional exhibits include Multi-Camera Technology, Smart SBWS®*4 and Semi-Active Damper Equipped with Frequency-Sensitive Valve.

Digitalization

Under the theme “Beyond Manufacturing Norms-Accelerating Value Creation,” Astemo will present technologies that support continuous vehicle evolution through personalization and “Ultra-fast, high-efficiency digital development.” Collaborating with Hitachi, Ltd. on AI development*5 we are enabling the development of highly safe Physical AI,*6 while building a development platform for Driver‑Assistance AI aimed at accelerating Vehicle Intelligence.*7 This strengthens our IoV Platform.*8 Astemo Cypremos, Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary driving software and cloud service businesses, will also demonstrate the Cypremos SDV Engineering Suite.

Motorcycle

Astemo will leverage the advanced technologies developed through the four‑wheel vehicle programs and deploy them for motorcycle applications. In the area of environment, we will introduce In‑Wheel Motor systems engineered specifically for motorcycles. In the area of safety, we will implement motorcycle ADAS*9 technologies that will enhance riding safety and comfort through advanced camera‑based sensing.
